Alexis (whose last name means “Christmas” in Italian!) is our on-site marketing and communications connoisseur. She started with Lifeologie as a part-time freelancer in 2018 and transitioned to our full-time head of marketing in 2020. From social media posts and graphic design to analytics and reporting, Alexis has experience in almost every aspect of marketing and, if she doesn’t have it yet, she’s eager to learn!
Alexis’s marketing career started after she graduated from Oklahoma State University (Go Pokes!) in 2016. Immediately after college she moved back home to Dallas and secured an internship at a small PR and marketing firm for B2B tech companies. Her internship eventually turned into a full-time gig, where she worked with hyper-converged infrastructure (hyperconver– what now??), cloud-based customer information system, and expense management software providers to enhance their digital marketing and social media strategy.
In her free time, Alexis works alongside Melanie as a fellow board member of The DAWG Project and has fostered 20 dogs since diving into her passion for animal welfare as a Dallas Animal Services volunteer in 2016. She also enjoys watching trash TV (90 Day Fiance, The Bachelor/Bachelorette, Real Housewives, Teen Mom, you name it, she loves it), going to concerts (bonus points if it’s at a local bar), and trying out dairy-free recipes she finds on Pinterest.
